Veteran Narratives

The Gary A. Ewell Interview Project is named for the late Marine Gary Ewell, an award winning writer and filmmaker. As we have been producing these interviews and going out into the Veteran Community, they found it hard to express the stories of their service. Yet, by the end of their interviews they admit that talking about their service experiences and their lives afterwards was the beginning of a healing process. With these Veteran Interviews we are creating a stronger sense of cohesion and inclusiveness in our community. We are proud to share these incredible stories and be an agent of healing as we help to build bridges between the Veteran Community and the Community at large.
